Easy95 ODS

The basis of Easy95 is the Easy95 ODS (Operational Data Store). It provides the user with an object oriented Operational Data Store based on ISA-95 objects. It implements all ISA-95 models as they are described in the official standard and is up-to-date with the latest release:

Material information
Process segment information
Operations definition information
Operations schedule information
Operations performace information
Operations capability information

The ODS is not meant for an end user, it is really needed for the solutions architect to build applications. For this purpose the system comes with a web based user interface for solutions architects.

To make data accesible for other system and to integrate it with existing applications every model comes with a set of web services based on the B2MML specifications.

In the role based equipment model the user can freely define properties associated with equipment in the plant. The value of these properties can be linked with attributes in the Control-95 system. This allows the solutions architect to build functionality based on events from level 2.

Applications build around the ODS are so called manufacturing Operations Mangement applications and can be found on level 3.

For users that like to start small, we allow for purchasing a license per ISA model.

The Easy95 ODS is also very usefull for other solution providers who need a central datastore based on standards. An example is Cordys Plant Opeations Management.

Given the servce oriented architecture (SOA) the system also provides a good basis for companies looking for cloud based applications or multi-site companies that need an abstraction layer to build virtual plants.

Easy95 Suite

Solutions architects can use their own preferred tools to build applications based on the ISA-95 objects provided by Easy95, but we also provide a suite of tools based on proven technologies. The tools are delivered in an integrated web based Operations Management Systsem (OMS) Framework known as Easy95 Suite.

It currently contains the following tools:

Intelligence-95 is the brand name of NATUS for the Easy95 Suite of products.

Control-95

Control-95 provides a complete distributed object-oriented process control system to provide level 2 functionality, available through our partner NATUS GmbH & Co. It is based on technology developed over the last 20 years and that runs on at least 500 stations.
